Rob McCoole succeeded Sandy Ruoff as Director of the Guilford Public Library in December 2017. Rob has served as Head of Reference and Assistant Director during his tenure in Guilford

Kathy Giotsas became Executive Director of Orange’s Case Memorial Library in December 2017, where she replaced Meryl Farber. The former director of the West Haven Public Library, Kathy returns to LION after serving as the Executive Director of Great Neck Library in New York.

Selma Dautefendic joined the staff of the Old Saybrook’s Acton Public Library in February 2018. She comes to Old Saybrook from the Wethersfield Public Library, where she was Adult and Teen Services Manager.

LION looks forward to these talented new leaders bringing their own innovative thinking to the organization, just as their longstanding predecessors’ stewardship helped make LION the strong collaborative it is today.
